Aly is nearly always wearing loose fitting men's clothing. When she's at ease...and not in all her armor...she is usually wearing the following: Black loose fitting trousers tucked neatly into knee high black riding boots. An either white or black poet's shirt...tied in the front loosely with the arms folded up to her elbows. It's tucked also into her trousers. A black leather vest that looks old and comfortably worn. Her sword belt buckled around her waist, covered by a sapphire blue sash wrapped carefully around her waist with the tassle hanging down over her left hip. On the end is stiched in a silvery thread the image of a dragon in flight. The thread seems to move and dance within the fabric as it's made out of pure elemental air. This sash is a symbol of her Royal house and her position, even though former, on the high council. The same with the large sapphire signet ring she wears..which is another symbol of her house. It has the Arbiter's seal upon it as well, symbolizing her as an Arbiter. typically she'd be wearing a black leather slanted cap (sort of like those bikers wear, or a driving cap)

Aly has a number of tattoos, though they're nearly all hidden by her armor and clothing. On her left forearm is a tattoo of a wolf's head surrounded by lightning. There's also one around her upper right arm in the design of a Celtic triple knot. On the back of her neck, hidden by her hair is a small phoenix, symbolizing her "rebirth" from the Katara.

ow on her back is a very large...scar. Her entire left shoulder blade is taken up by the mark of a branding iron. Of the same design that's on her sash. When she was a child, during her father's insanity..when he finally accepted the fact that she'd inherited the Thunderlord trait and not her brother...he was angry. He wanted it to be Jerec, her brother. He dragged Aly out to the stables in an insane rage and tied to her to a post...and branded her like the family horses, all the while mumbling about how he owned her now... After that was done...he took his unconcious daughter into his lab and performed a ritual, surrounding the wound with magical runes and linking her to the demon that he had promised he would free. Alyssia became the key to the demon entering the world...and the demon did, through her for awhile when she was older...and she became a bloodthirsty murderous warlord for him.....comiting crimes that even to this day horrifies her.

Her accent changes with her mood. I dunno if some of you have noticed that. When she's happy and in a good mood she speaks with a very thick brogue, but the madder or more serious she gets...the accent changes...she loses it almost completely, replacing it with a soft "irish" lilt. Also the angrier she gets the deeper her voice gets...and when she starts yelling stand back because it's in the deepest meanest angriest voice possible.

Her eyes...are...very strange. They're so crystalline green....so bright and glittering just like perfect emeralds. The reason for this is because her eyes aren't human...they're inherited from her father, the Dragon Stormwind. If you really look into her eyes and study them....you can TELL they're not human. they "look" human at cursory glance...but...

Alyssia, unless in a serious situation, always has a bit of a mischevious twinkle in her eyes and a slight smirk upon her lips. She typically stands with her arms folded loosely and one hip, usually the one her sword hangs on so the left, cocked up a bit. When she grins it's usually out of only one side of her mouth (once again the left) and so is quite crooked. Her skin is slightly pale...and her hair is straight light auburn with streaks of vibrant red. She wears a part in her hair down the middle with her forehead exposed mostly and bangs sticking out a bit...they don't lay flat on her forehead. It's usually worn just past the shoulders. Her sleeves, unless in armor are always folded to the elbow, mostly to show off the wolf tattoo on her left forearm and to keep her sleeves out of the way. Fingernails are short and functional, not painted. Her eyebrows are slightly thick and "wolfish". She's very beautiful in a "boyish" sort of way, but most of that is an attitude. She can be very soft and warm and feminine if she chooses to be, but it's very rare.

Now the reason Aly tends to be so "butch"? and wear men's clothing? It all comes from Omar...the man who was her "father" (who branded her) before she found out her REAL father was the dragon. He wanted his son to be the one...his son to succeed...his son to be the inheritor of his power...not his daughter...who he really dismissed more than anything. So when she was a child, Aly began acting more like a boy to desparately try and win Omar's attention and love...and it's stuck to her this day. Though never EVER compare her to a man...she will get right pissed at you. Aly never WANTED or wants to be a man..she's quite happy being a woman...she just knows that there are times..when you have to succeed...being labeled as a "silly woman" isn't going to get you very far. It's better if you're just "one of the guys".
