Default Call me crazy but...

Anyone else out there bother checkin out EQ2? I know I know, big evil Sony, and even I thought EQ1 was kinda crap. However I've actually been dinkin around EQ2, and while by no means groundbreaking it's not a bad little game.

A Friend an I were talkin about it, it's pretty much just like wow, with different graphics and well that about sums up the differences.

Was just wonderin if anyone else has given it a go or not since chats been thin lately *grins*

Default Eq2

I worked so damn hard in EQ 1 by the time I retired my warrior I was kinda burnt. You get to the top of the server and there's really nowhere to go.

I really wanted to try EQ2...but quite honestly I can't.

One because we can't afford it and two because my computer can't run it, lol. both my CD-Rom drive and CDR drives are completely dead so I can't install anything from CD, my processor isn't great and I only have just a shy over 700 meg of RAM...and still running an old first get Geforce 3 with only 64 meg on board.

EQ2 looks fantastic and I've heard lots of good things about it. But Ruden and I are pretty much stuck when it comes to playing anything new out there. Can't play WoW either really.

SO in other words...we have to live vicariously through people who have newer computers =p So I've heard lots of good things about EQ2 but I also hear the glamor dies quickly. Having not played it myself I can't really say from personal experience...but I know it's more casual than EQ1...which is geared towards high end raiding content and hard core playing. Probably good for the Spiritwood folk.

Erm...I was a hard core high end raider =p and let me tell ya it burns you out.

*lives through Raina...dreams of playing games again *
