Okay I know it's been workin a wee bit slow but I also know why, the RSS Feed for MMORPG.com takes a bit to pull and it's not super fast, and as such has been squeaking load times out a bit slower for the whole site.

Thoughts on it? I just disabled it so you should notice it bein a bit snappier. I want to know if anyone actually looks at the front page or uses the MMORPG.com feed at all anyways, and if so is it worth the bit of speed it takes from the rest of the site or not?

Lemme know, also gonna try another RSS script to see if I can't cache it an make it snappier.

The site was painfully slow for me yesterday, but I thought it was just me. It's running nice and smooth now.

I would say if there was a way you can cache the data to a local file for periodic updates, that would be cool. If you can't, I would take the speed over the news, altough its nice to have it.
